About Me
Welcome to my website! My name is Patricia Verlinde, and I am a passionate artist and writer. My creative journey is mainly focused on painting, where I specialize in the styles of abstract and abstract realism. My works are often dreamy and imaginative, which is a reflection of the magical and mysterious world I envision.
Painting
The essence of my artistic expression lies in painting. I create works of art that blur the boundaries between reality and fantasy. My paintings often contain fantasy themes, with delicate flowers and female figures or dreamy landscapes. A special element that I often incorporate into my art is the Celtic cross. This symbol, which fascinates me because of its pagan and Celtic origins, can be found both visibly and invisibly in many of my creations. Each piece acts as a gateway to another dimension, intended to inspire and enchant the viewer.
Authorship
In addition to my paintings, I have also written a book series, entitled The Chosen Ones. This series was originally published in Dutch and has since been translated into German, with more languages on the way. The fantasy themes that characterize my paintings are also prominent in my books, which tell stories of adventures in the modern world and the supernatural characters that populate it.
